We are a community-based health center and a proud Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), committed to providing accessible, affordable care to everyone regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

What is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)?

A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is a healthcare provider that meets government standards to offer affordable, full-service care to communities in need. FQHCs focus on improving access to primary and preventive care, especially in low-income or rural areas where healthcare options may be limited.

What does this mean for you?

Affordable Care for All
One of the main goals of FQHCs is to make healthcare available to everyone, no matter their income. They use a sliding fee scale, so patients pay based on what they can afford. This helps low-income individuals and families get the medical care they need. (link to sliding fee scale for a quick review)

Support for Vulnerable Populations
FQHCs focus on caring for vulnerable groups, such as uninsured individuals, people experiencing homelessness, and migrant workers. By meeting the needs of these communities, FQHCs help improve health outcomes for everyone.
